How do I know who's yahoo messenger sn this is?

I found on my b/f's computer a s/n with a bunch of girls on the contact list - but he says it's his friends s/n. and I tried checking who's it really is but they used a fake name and delete all conversations after they leave. how do i find out whos s/n it really is?
