Boiler Problems: I'm almost freezing to death. I need your help PLEASE?

turn the thermostst down to lowest setting , turn off electric power to the appliance , push in gas control knob and turnto off. wait 5 min. if you smell gas call a repairman, if you dont smell any gas, continue to next step, turn gas control knob to "on" turn on all electrical power to appliance, set thermostat to desired setting, boiler will cycle through 3 times and hopefully prove airflow, ignition and valve flame on one of those cycles. if it goes to flashing again, you may need to have the control pannel replaced. or your igniter needs replaced, or you have a birdnest in the duct or chimney and are not getting any air.
