What animal skull has a broad "nose" and oval eye socket?

The skull is about 10 inches tall and maybe 4 inches wide. The backbone is still connected partially and it appears to have been at least 3 feet in length. I've looked online but can't find one with the deeply oval eye socket and wide nose. The closest is an alligator...! but not in N. Minnesota!
